Hello everyone! How are you doing?

First of all, I would like to congratulate you for your interest in learning more about the biblical character Bezalel and his story of talent and dedication.

As a designer, I have a passion for creativity, innovation, and communication, but I also as a Christian, understand that my talents are not just about skill and creativity, but also spiritual calling and empowerment.

In this book, we will learn more about Bezalel, a talented designer and craftsman chosen by God to work on the Tabernacle, an important structure in Jewish history.

Bezalel was chosen by God to be the chief artisan of the Tabernacle, a portable sanctuary that was used for worship during the Israelites' journey through the desert.

Bezalel was from the tribe of Judah and was the grandson of Hur, a skilled artisan who had worked with Moses on previous projects. It is likely that Bezalel inherited his grandfather's skills and passion for craftsmanship.

Bezalel's work on the Tabernacle was remarkable. He was responsible for designing and creating the Ark of the Covenant, the Table of Showbread, the Lampstand, and other important items that were used in worship. His designs were not only beautiful, but also full of meaning and purpose. His work on the Tabernacle was an act of worship in itself, a way of honouring God and His presence among His people.

It is worth noting that Bezalel's design work on the Ark of the Covenant is particularly significant. The Ark was the most sacred object in the Tabernacle, and it was a symbol of God's presence among His people. It was designed to be carried on poles by the Levites and was to be treated with great reverence. It contained the tablets of the Ten Commandments, a jar of manna, and Aaron's rod that budded. The Ark was the most holy place in the Tabernacle, and only the High Priest could enter it once a year on the Day of Atonement.

Interestingly, there is a connection between Bezalel and another biblical character, Noah. In Genesis 6:8-9, it says, "But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God." The Hebrew word for "blameless" is tamim, which means complete or whole. Similarly, the Hebrew word used to describe Bezalel's artistic ability in Exodus 31:3 is hokhmah, which means complete or skilled. Both Bezalel and Noah were described as complete or whole in their respective contexts, suggesting that they shared a similar dedication to God and His work.
